Description:
This fine Solingen-made straight razor is probably from 1930s and it exceptionally well made.
The tang sides have been covered with a celluloid which has aged to a nice 'Butterscotch' colour over time.
Tang marked 'Best Silver Steel'
Other side marked 'Solingen, Made and Ground in Germany'
The blade is faintly etched with 'Velvet Glider'
The original sales were cracked so I have fitted a new set in Butterscotch colour to complement the tang covering.
The blade has been polished to remove corrosion. A few marks remain but these do not detract from the attractiveness, or usability of this fine razor
Exceptional shaver.
Comes with original card case.
